The 0.62.0 preview already included Save open copies. Open your PDFs in document tabs, make your changes, and choose Save open copies beside the tabs. You can also find it in the tool picker.
Saving just one PDF?
Choose Save a copy. Pagekind proposes an unused filename. Choose a new name or folder if the destination becomes unavailable; your document stays open so you can retry. Saving a copy always creates a new file and does not replace your original.
One folder. Clear filenames.
Choose a local folder or paste its full path, then select Review names. The list shows each document and the exact filename it will receive. Existing files are skipped when names are prepared. PDFs with unsaved changes are selected for you; use the checkboxes or Select all to include other open documents.
Keep your place.
Select Save copies when the list is ready. Each document keeps its password protection, history and saved state. Your current PDF stays on the same page with the same zoom and tool. Your original files stay protected.
See how each copy finished.
A verified copy says Saved. If a filename becomes occupied after review, that file is left untouched and its row explains the problem. Other safe copies can finish. Review names again before retrying a conflict. Stop after current copy lets the current file finish and be checked before the remaining copies stop.
A draft needs attention?
Pagekind applies a valid text or form draft before opening the review. A draft that does not pass its checks stays in your editor. Correct or discard it first. If any tab has unexported redaction marks, export or clear those marks before using ordinary Save open copies. An ordinary saved PDF does not apply redactions.
Unplaced Add text and Annotate values are different from a live edit to existing text. In the 0.65.0 preview, they stay available while their PDF is open, but Save a copy and Save open copies do not place them or include them in the saved files. Return to the tool and drag on the page first. Check the placement steps before saving words you have just added.
If saving is interrupted.
Pagekind checks the actual result before reporting a saved copy. If that result cannot be verified, further saves stop and your workspaces are retained. Close and reopen Pagekind, then use Recover to inspect the saved result. Successful copies stay in their folder; the multi-document queue is not automatically resumed. Up to 20 open PDFs can be reviewed.
This is an unsigned engineering preview. Clean Windows installation and human accessibility checks remain part of release validation.
