A LITTLE HELP WITH YOUR PAPERWORK

Follow a reference. Find your way back.

Move through linked pages and review external destinations with a clear next step.

A practical Pagekind guideWork with local files

Choose Follow links.

Open Read & select and choose Follow links. Visible PDF link annotations are marked on the active page and listed in the side panel. Select text restores passage selection when you need to copy words.

Jump to a page and come back.

Choose a page link on the PDF or in the list. Pagekind opens the destination page. Use Back or Alt+Left to return to the previous view; Forward or Alt+Right revisits the destination.

Check a website destination.

Choose a website link to show its complete address. Nothing opens until you choose Open website. That action uses your default browser. Pagekind does not upload your PDF. If the browser cannot open, the address remains available in the review card.

Keep long pages manageable.

Lists show twenty links at a time, with More links and Previous links controls. The destination review stays above the list. On continuous pages, first choose the visible page whose links you want to use; a second action follows its selected link.

Know which links are supported.

This preview reads explicit local-page and HTTP(S) PDF link annotations. It does not detect plain-text URLs or run scripts, file attachments, remote-file actions or action chains. Page destinations use their page number; destination zoom, exact scroll coordinates and article threads are not applied. Some actions are shown as unsupported.

Included in the 0.65.0 Windows engineering preview, with up to 1,000 annotations on a page. Passwords remain required for protected documents. Following references does not change the PDF.
